MMA Grappling

Grappling involves manoeuvres and counters applied to an opponent in order to gain a physical advantage in the sport of mixed martial arts, such as improving position, escaping, submitting, or injury to the opponent. Grappling most commonly does not include striking or the use of weapons. However, some fighting styles or martial arts known especially for their grappling techniques teach tactics that include strikes and weapons either alongside grappling or combined with it. Our instructor has much experience in different fight arts one of which is Jiu Jitsu. So come along and learn something new with this breakdown and practice of technique.

Just a short and quick spin. The mini version of our one hour indoor cycling classes. An exhilarating and hugely popular class set in our dedicated cycle studio. Totally unlike the usual stationary cycling the experience is upbeat set to upbeat sound tracks with instructors who will push you and entertain you whilst you all go on a journey together.

Functional Fitness

Just like our big daddy rig classes just a tad more chilled. Imagine a giant jungle gym for adults and you will have a fairly good idea about what goes on in our rig classes. We use the rig (jungle gym) as well as rubber bands , medicine and slam balls, steps, battle ropes, suspension training, kettlebells and even a truck tyre. All of these components make up circuits and add lots of body weight exercises like squats and press-ups and you end up with a fun, high octane class for all fitness capabilities from beginners to elite. You can make this class as hard as you want!  You will get quick toning results from this all over body workout!

Total Tone

This class varies from one session to the next, with our instructor Tracy Patmore coming up with ever inventive ways to burn fat and build muscle. You could be working with kettlebells one week and excercise bands the next. Definitely enough to keep any fitness fanatic interested.

Metafit

Metafit classes last 30 minutes and uses bodyweight exercises which target the largest muscle groups in the body for greater effect. There is no need to use any equipment. This is not an endurance class so there’s no need for you to pace yourself to avoid looking like the least fit person in the room. Everyone should be putting in their maximum effort. There is no choreography so don’t worry if you don’t know your left from your right.
